Gladwin County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the population was 26,023. The county seat is Gladwin. The county is named for Henry Gladwin, British military commander at Detroit during Pontiac's War. The county was named in 1831 and organized in 1875.
